No chimney in loft

ENQUIRY
The customer wanted a wood burning stove installed but lived in a property where the chimney stack had been removed.

SURVEY
We popped over to take a look at the room, chimney aperture and access to the stack. We suggested - a 5kW stove would suit the room size and the access was fine. We issued a estimate detailing the variables that may incur once the existing fireplace had been removed.

After the estimate was accepted we booked the prep work and installation. The duration was two days with the preparation work on the first and install on the second.

PREP WORK
We removed the existing fireplace and exposed the original brick work chamber which the customer decided toi keep bare.
We installed new front and back hearths and made good to the front of the fascia.

INSTALLATION
The stove chosen was the Charnwood C5.
We installed a 316 grade flxible liner before connecting to twin wall to exit to property in the loft space.
